Car hire age restrictions

    Ive noticed that Hertz Car Rental in America won't rent to people who are under 25 years of age. Anyone know of any reliable car rental companies in America who will rent to people from 21 years and upwards? Is it difficult to rent a car in America if you are under 25 years of age?

    Most car hire companies will rent to under 25's in the States but they will put an extra premium on the hire charge. Sometimes as much as 100 dollars a day. i always find Dollar rentals to be good value and very professional. www.dollar.com

    i used them in the summer, they have a deal with one of the car rental companies so u dont have to pay the young drivers fee - i think its budget
