    could anyone tell me a very rough ball park figure for a solar system supplimental to the domestic hot water for a house of 4 people

    wont need a cylinder because my cylinder has a spare coil on it

    might be able to install it myself


    i know this is a very general question but any ideas appreciatied

    Hi Bob,

    I have been following Solar tubes subject for a while now, the one good point is they are dropping in price all the time.

    I am not sure it is a good time to invest just yet because the pay back time is still fairly stretched out.

    I would like to hear from users of Solar systems ( not the salesmen ), there are at least two good suppliers in Ireland.

    My only reservation is the outlay versus return at this time.
