Has anyone spent a summer working in Croatia? Or even if youve holidayed over there what would be the liklihood of picking up a job over there?
Alternatively does anyone have any suggestions for destinations to go around the same area for a working summer? sun and good beaches required!
    cheers

    Hi Lainer,

never worked there but have visited alot, and know a good bit about the country.

It's not in the EU, so 3 months is your visa, and I don't know if you can work there.

If money is important, their average wage is about 500 euros a month, so would be small compared to here.

And you'd be looking at bar and restaurant jobs, which probably pay less, unless you could get in with a watersports or sailing outfit for the summer.

Absolutely fantastic country to holiday in, and you'd need 3 months, so much to see ......maybe Italy or Slovenia a better option to work in, as they are in the EU, and higher wages in Italy.
If money is not important (in that you want enough to get by, but won't save anything by Irish standards ......go for it.
