So here I am sitting down eating my watermelon and just though...
Is the "water" in a watermelon actually water or is it considered "watermelon juice"?
    Weird question, I know.

Does it taste like water? It's juice.

Hence the name, Watermelon. It is indeed water that is inside the melon. Very sweet.

True. It is a sweet, water-based juice that the Watermelon contains.

I love watermelons(and indeed any melons)!

If ye buy the watermelon in a Med country(on your hols or whatever), chances are it is water!

Sometimes the less honest sellers prick holes all over the skin and leave the melon in a river/pool of water(usually naturally filthy) and the melon gains about a quarter to half it's original size!

They then sell these 'top quality' watermelons to the dumb tourists!
