Objects Moved By Thought

A 25-year-old man who is paralysed below the neck is controlling everyday objects - by thought.

In early trials, Matthew Nagle has learned to think his TV on and off, change channels and play a computer game.

Mr Nagle has had three electrodes implanted in his skull which tap into his brain waves.

The electrodes were placed above the sensory motor cortex where neural signals for controlling arms and legs are produced.

    Excellent.
Now it's just a matter of time before I don't have to actually do projects/type, but just think about them.

He has it connected to IE in that diagram. Brave, foolish man.. How long before someone sticks spyware/adware in his brain :D

And after making that post, I showed this to my work colleagues, who rightly laughed me out of it while asking me what date it was! :(

I still don't believe it entirely, but the above convinced me not to have a go at you earlier on :p

    Pfff, it's entirely reasonable tbh.
I bet all the counter-strike clans will be after him once he gets good with that thing.
