    Two questions:

    Is Smart ADSL2?

Does ADSL2 use different filters to the standard DSL ones?

    Cheers

    1. Yep. Smart is ADSL2

    2. No idea. I would presume they should be the same as all they do is just prevent line interference.

The reason I'm asking is that I have a filter built into my phone socket from back when I was on the ESAT trials.

EDIT: Finally found someone in Smart who knew what they were talking about. The filters used are the just the bog standard ones.
