yeh, its pointless. Midn you , i dont know if they would challenge in the premiership. Your talking about teams that struggle in some matches in the SPL. Which is a better team, Dundee or Chelsea?
Also, You regularly see Barcelona and Real Madrid managers getting fired even if they WIN the league

It is a rather pointless and repeditive excercise. As an Irishman I do like to see celtic win, but I think it has less to do with football and more to do with begrudgery, which is really whats its all about. Until there is a real 3rd contender the league is just a money splashing excercise (the cash involved being compared to the rest of the league).

and just because the fans in scotland are 'passionate', ie kick lumps out of each other after a match, does not mean its good footabll. hell, sunderland and newcastle knock lumps out of each other on the field and its not pretty, but its passionate coz its a derby. mind you, its a lot better tahn scotish football.

let face it. only die hard supporters of any team will say that the scotish premier is any good. there is just no proof that it is better than anywhere else, with the exception of armenia and ireland.
