High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman

    Has anybody seen the new show High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman yet??

    It is on BBC3 but im sure it will be on BBC2 soon. It is so funny. Basically it is about a camp medium. He does his show in a church and the audience think he is a real medium but he is actually a comedian pretending to be one. He also does private readings which they show with a hidden camera... some of the things he comes out with are priceless.

    he told one couple that they were going to have a daughter that would become a heroin addict who would give blow jobs for a fix..

    he told another guy that he would become a millionaire because of an insurance claim and that he would have round the clock medical care and one of those keyboards that says what you type.

    He also has a spirit academy (like fame academy) where he tests people for their psychic ability.

    my favourite line from the show was what he said to some old woman.


    'I feel your pain... i feel your shame but youre not to blame.. how were you supposed to know he was still alive when you buried him'.

    pure genius.
