Never flown to Brazil but I've flown on Brazilian airline (Varig). The flight was from Paris to Amsterdam and was obviously the European leg of a flight originating in Brazil - Plane was excellent quality for the short time I was on it and the ticket was cheap. I booked that through expedia - so you may want to check out flights for Paris/London/Frankfurt -> Brazil and then also get a connection from Dublin to your starting airport...

Try Trailfinders in Dawson Street. They are generally the best for 'that sort of thing'.

    Try www.clubtravel.ie

They are quoting only 700 euros or so for September flights. (air france) Also try british airways and iberia. Usit always have special offers to South America so keep an eye out on the website. You shouldn't have to pay more than a grand for the flights.

If you haven't booked yet I'm working for Varig at the moment and overall our fares are more expensive from Dublin than the Europe based companies. The fare in Sept. would be 1154.24EUR and in Oct. 1052.24EUR.

Your best bet would be to book with Iberia via Madrid. The fare is 770.28EUR and you can book through a travel agency or directly with them. The number is 01 407 3017

    Check out www.sayit.ie
Used Sayit to book a flight to Brazil at the begining of the year. They were about the cheapest price I was able to find.
