Mana and instants question

Something is not clear to me:
Suppose I have a Sol Ring and I tap it for mana and then someone cast a Disenchant on it. Do I still get the mana or nor?

Or, I have a Bird of Paradise and tap it for mana but then it is killed by a Lightning Bolt. Do I still get the mana or not?

Or, if the bird is killed while still untapped (no summoning sickness), can I tap it as an instant and get the mana or not?

    Thanks in advance,
    Gil

the key point here is that once an ability is put on the stack, there is NOTHING your opponent can do to stop it resolving (save a handful of cards like Brown Ouphe and Stifle), but as a general rule, if you tap for the ability, it goes on the stack and will resolve even if the thing with the ability isnt around.

as for the tapping as an instant, all creature abilities can be played as instants, so yes you can respond to the lightning bolt by tapping to get mana.

just remember the stack resolves from the top down so if you tap for mana and then it gets lightning bolted it dies first and so because it is dead you don't get the mana.

a quote from the rules:217.6d When both players pass in succession, the top (last-added) spell or ability on the stack
resolves. If the stack is empty when both players pass, the current step or phase ends and the
    next begins.

no, the ability is put on the stack, when the sol ring is destroyed the ability stays on the stack regardless, as matthew says.

sionnach is right. The ability is still on the stack and thus resolves after the lightning bolt or disenchant. Nothing can prevent that. Thats a key point in MTG, best to get your head around that before proceeding.
