Crazy road rage driver in Dublin - Who is she?

Within the space of just a couple of days I heard two reliable reports from different people about a very strange woman who is driving around the streets of our capital.

She drives a '00 Red Punto and is described as being smartly dressed, in her 30's and professional looking - BUT BEWARE.......

It seems that this woman is very easily enraged while driving and likes to taunt other female road users about their physical appearance, to a degree, I am told, that makes her appear totally insane.

First example - a car cuts out at traffic lights - she pulls up alongside and begins to taunt the driver by puffing out her cheeks and generally making motions to indicate to the other driver that she thinks she is fat. Exactly what that has to do with her driving I don't know.

Second example - another woman, THIS TIME 8 MONTHS PREGNANT gets the same treatment from "Fat Rage Lady" She pointed at her stomach and again made all the fat gestures and pulled faces at her. There seems to be something wrong with her if she can't tell the difference between overweight and pregnant!

What I would like to know is if anyone has encountered her before on their travels or if they know who this person is? The way she is behaving, it seems like it's just a matter of time before she get completely out of control.

I might not have all the details correct about her car / appearance but if this sounds familiar then please let me know as I'll probably be reporting it.

Well you would be hard pushed to catch her. One girl told me al she actually had to do was begin to roll down her window before psycho started looking nervous and sped off. The other girl would have torn strips off her had she not been pregnant. All this woman is doing is looking for trouble. To be honest I think she needs help.

    Humanities is that way, poindexter.

What never ceases to amaze me are people who go to the bother of posting a reply to a thread, saying they think, the thread is pointless... Many threads in many forums are pointless to me.. I read them or not, but I don't feel the need to slag them off.

    threads like this are great!

Any more suggestions for revenge? You could wait and see for her to get stuck in traffic and then give her some faces back!

Alternately, drive after her for a while and REALLY make her paranoid!

    :D Thanks - that's just what I was thinking!

Of course it would have been a little hypocritical of me to point that out myself

Yes, I'm sure somebody on the boards must know this lady. However, that doesn't mean that they would know what she does in her spare time! A professional woman in her thirties driving a red punto - that doesn't exactly narrow down the field much, does it? And if I was Fat Rage Lady, I'd hardly tell everyone I know about my traffic-light antics

    hahaha

    deadly,

where is she most likely to be spotted?

Sitting in her car outside weighwatchers meetings, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting slimmers no doubt.

Actually that description does narrow it down very nicely. Let's see - first off, the person is female so you can disregard 50% of the population right there. Second, she is in her thirties, therefore you can disregard anyone who is younger or older. Thirdly, she drives a red Punto. Do you see how this process of elimination works? My description was obviously good enough for you to realise that you DON'T know her so maybe it's good enough for someone else to realise that they do. See how it works?

Perhaps if someone on Boards does know this person and maybe even cares about them, they might just let her know that it wouldn't be in anyones interest to continue this kind of behavior.

Thats an awfully jaded view for someone who's only been around for a few weeks......

If you would also report the crazy ether perfume guys at the same time, it'd be helpful. That way the gardai won't have fill out two wasting police time charge sheets for you and the guy with the perfume issue

While it's clear the perfume story is total bulls***, I can tell you for a fact, that this one is not.

Despite that, it seems that more people are concerned with talking about a fictional danger to women instead of a real one. Makes me wonder if people want the truth or just an exciting story? How about a flying pig that abducts women around Dublins shopping centres and petrol stations? Would that generate a bit of discussion?

Well, I'm actually 28 years of age, more than a few weeks in fact.. which may explain my jaded view. I'm also a cynic, but not overly cynical... what dots do you need to join now?
