Im having a problem with my wireless card, its status pops up as being "limited or no conectivity" It says the problem is that it failed to asign a network address to the computer. Any idea?
    Thanks

What type of card do you have.

Can you connect direct to your Modem, Router, Modem/Router.

I am not familiar with the "failed to asign a network address to the computer" error it is probally a result as opposed to a cause, But the "limited or no connectivity" error I think I have seen in the past where a Neighbour of mine installed a wireless videosender operating on the same 2.4 GHz band, I changed the operating frequency (Channel) on my Modem/Router and Card from 11 to 3 and and that fixed it.

This problem can also occur with cheap Cordless phones, Baby monitors and anything on the 2.4 GHz band without FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) .

    hope it helps
