I am a SKY Plus subscriber here in Ireland, and I have just bought an apartment in Portugal. If I bring out my box and card, and set up a dish, can I recieve all the Sky channels when I am out there? What other channels can I recieve on the same dish?( I WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO SET UP ONE DISH)
    Thank you,
    Terry Pattison

for starters, what size dish. astra 2d will be hard as the footprint is focused in on Ireland and the UK. astra 2d has rte, bbc, itv

It depends where in Portugal, in the south you will need 1.4 for Channel 5 and some north beam channels . 2D is not so bad and 1 -1.2 will do . If you go north the dish size increases for 2D .
