The one in funderland is great. I can't wait for that to come back I must ride it four or five times each visit & I go to funderland a LOT !!!

    - Not - :)

My absolute favourite is X (http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/Rides/x.html) Man that is one cool ride. Closely followed by Riddler's Revenge, Hulk, & California Screamin

i agree space mountain is really good, and the because its soo dark inside not many people know what it looks like and last time i was there it broke down so the lights came on and i was one of the lucky few who was privvy to the insides.

Actually there's one called "Mullholland Madness" in Disney's California Adventure which seems like a gentle little ride (video here - http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/parks/attractions/detail?name=MulhollandMadnessAttractionPage&bhcp=1) & it's aimed at kids but the bends on it are 90 degree angles & you genuinely (first ride) think you'll come off.

Collosus (largest wooden coaster in USA) is excellent.

If you like indoor coasters, then the Mummy's revenge is interesting...

    Alton Towers gets my vote.

Somehow queueing (spelling?) for 45min-1hour doesn't seem so bad there.
I think it's the remote crowd sensors that tell you how long you will have to wait for each ride (from the other side of the impressive woodland grounds), that every ride is free once you pay in (and that's cheap), the sky car (forget the real name).

I agree - 3minutes long, 8 inversions and 68mph. has a 120 foot loop and a 160 foot drop too. I've been to alton towers too. Oblivion is allright but I went at Easter and there was only a 15min queue. Nemesis was very good and if you queue for the front seat it is amazing. :D

The "Top Gun" ride at Paramounts Wonderland in Toronto is a bit of a hole opening experience.

That the one that goes backwards half way through the ride?

I have to say that most of the rollercoasters there are very short. You get on them and almost straight away you have to get off them. Although the novelty of having to stand up on one of them is quiet cool!!!!

I changed my mind. The best rollercoaster in the world is the one in Tramore :D:D:D

The bat is the one that goes backwards halfway through. That ones getting on a bit, I first rode it in 1988. Top Gun is almost the same as Nemesis at Alton Towers, built by the same people too if I remember correctly. The newer one, Air, in Alton Towers was a let down, but at least it kept the goons busy queuing for that and off the other coasters. Oblivion is okay but very short ride time. I've been to Alton Towers a few times and the best time is in October mid week. Practically zero queue times but you still have to walk around. A few years ago I was there a mate broke his arm. The had closed the gate to stop admissions tot he Nemesis as it was the end of the day. While waiting for the medics to arrive the coaster came in and I got to ride it one more time. Alton Towers have a new launch/induction coaster opening this season, 0-61mph in 2.3 seconds.

Of the coasters i've been on i'd say Collossus in thorpe park london would rank as my favourite, 10 inversions leaves you feeling like you don't know which way is up or down :D great stuff

Of the coasters i'd love to go on.....wow so many to choose from, the new coaster in six flags great adventure called Kingda Ka breaks 2 very nice records, fastest and tallest, 0-128pmh in 3.5 seconds and then 456feet straight up :ohttp://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatadventure/index.asp
check out the video animation near the bottom of the page

As mentioned already by iMax X in another six flags park also looks to be a hell of a ride

    other worthy mentions would be:
Deja Vu in sixflags magic mountain
    http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/Rides/DejaVu.html

Superman the escape also six flags magic mountain
    http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/Rides/superman.html

and Scream also in six flags magic mountain
    http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/Rides/scream.html

hell just about everything in six flags magic mountain would be great....would love to go there
