Anyone ever been? I'm looking to go this May, hopefully it's not too late to get tickets. I'm looking for suggestions of the best way to go about getting tickets and what packages are available. I may have accomodation in Nice available around that time but any / all information welcome, thanks!

Apparently a bottle of mineral water costs about €10 or €15 there.

Some nice talent on display there though and I'm not talking about F1 either. ;)

Never been and this may be better in the Motorsport forum (also ask on the likes ot ten-tenths.com) but all I know is that you need a mortgage to afford it over there!

Fly to Nice, hitch to Monaco and put a tent up in Casino Square. Then all you need to do is befriend somebody with an appartment overlooking the swimming pool and you're sorted ;)

ive been to monaco loads of times. its not dear at all except the main 5 star hotels. hotel du palais in the restaurant charges 55euro for a salad.

but there are loads of restaurants in monaco that are cheaper than dublin. ie u can eat a pizza overlooking the harbour for 10 euro.its not dear at all. its priced for the average tourist. theres something for everyone there. parking is reasonable and nice is a few minutes by train to monte carlo. it takes about 20-25 minutes by road to nice.

not at all, nothing could be further from the truth, theres something for everyone there. most of the people on the streets are french tourists. and the average frenchy isnt that well off as here.

Thanks just posted in the Motorsport forum. Yeh Monaco's not far from Niece so hoping to cut down on accomodation costs there, then it's hire a car, drive down and bring a big cooler full of water n food to keep me going!
