A bit dissapointing that despite Ireland's improvement in the past 14-16 mnths, that only 6 men (Keith Wood, Brian O'Driscoll, Ronan O’Gara, Rob Henderson, Jeremy Davidson and Malcolm O'Kelly ) out of 37 are Irish.

Not too surprising it would have been nice to see Denis Hickey get in. The injury really set him back because he would have been a useful addition to Lions squad.

Six players is still an improvement on last tours four.

Still pretty disappointing given the performances some of the backs made in the 6N & HCup games... pity the Scots though, 3!

A lot of the Lions selectors were over for the Munster versus an all ireland selection last week and Hickey had a fairly bad game.

There is still a chance. as far as I know he has been asked to stay in training during the tour just incase other fellows suffer injuries, which they will.
