I've seen numbers of 130K bb installations. Does anyone have any breakdown on how this is divided up between the various players (East BT, IBB etc). Also is 130K (ish) the total number of bb lines or just the Eircom owned installs?

    thanks

See ComReg's latest Quarterly Report. It is in this document http://www.comreg.ie/_fileupload/publications/ComReg0521b.pdf on page 11.

    December 2004
dsl (that is eircom and its resellers) 114,00
    cable modem (ntl) at 8,950
Fixed wireless access at 8,600 (most of it Irish Broadband with some 6000)
    makes a total of 131,550

ComReg's John Doherty put the current broadband figures at 140,000 (quoted by A.Weckler in last Sunday's Business Post), which would indicate a much slower growth since December.
