Hi looking to buy a digital camera and need something that will produce magazine quality photgraphs. So need a dpi of 300 at least.. Any advice on a decent camera to get? Price range is about 3-500 euro thanks

What size is the max that the shots would be printed at? Are you talking large A4 size prints?

3.2mp? At least I get good quality shots at 10x8 with my canon 3.2mp camera.

For A4 I'd go for bigger than 3.2mp. If you want magazine quality go for the Canon 300D. There price will be coming down as the 350D has been released.

I should mention that you may want to crop the pictures before you print them A4 so for rhis you would need a larger sensor.
