Shirt and tie and decent pair of trousers at a minimum. A good suit will be worn by most men. Jeans if you want to stand out ;)

You'll get away with not wearing a suit as you're 18, but do make an effort to get a good shirt and pants at the very least.

A grandad shirt(they are the ones with out a folded collar) nice to keep the guys in all black, or black and white. you dont need a tie or jacket just nice trouser pants and a nice shirt(the one mentioned about is very classy looking).

Jeans to a wedding is horrible. Its formal and formal dress wear is always dress and suit! a nice pair of shoes (black) always look great never wear trainers.

Do not wear jeans to the wedding! It's looks really bad when other people make the effort to get dressed up for the day and you don't.

I always think you should wear a suit to weddings, but as dudara mentioned - you're 18, so you will be able to get away with trousers (not jeans or cords) and a smart shirt.
