Well why do you think there special ?

The first one is ok with the black figure, but I don't think there anything special.

ah i see changed the link cos the pics dont have anything to do with that site (didnt wanna cause confusion)

I didnt say they were special only got the camera new so was messing about with it was just curious as to wot ppl thought of em and wot u meant by normal pics is all

I think they're a bit (for lack of a better term) dull. I don't think theres anything really standout or interesting in them. Obviously this is just my opinion.

I have to agree with Metacortex, even the few that are interesting have been done before. There's nothing new. If you are just starting out in snaps then there are one or two there that show that you have a tallent and that it could be developed, but you need some orignal ideas.

is it me, or does it seem that the dark shades are a bit 'patchy' with the canon cameras?
I've seen this with other canons aswell, but the dark parts, don't seem to graduate the brightness stepping very well. Sorry that I don't know the official terms for this, but I have a Coolpix 5700, and I don't have that problem with my camera

Some nice pics of St Annes park (im pretty sure) but thats about it. Nothing amazing, I think any trigger happy tourist would do the same.
Next time you are there try and catch something interesting like some wildlife doing something you dont often see or even those guys that run around sometimes wearing old clothes, swords etc roleplaying Robin hood or something... :D

thanks for the feedback guys. im aware they are boring only getting used to the camera just got it has a treat to myself. And yeah it is St. Annes I live around the corner so went for a stroll in it the other day

Gilgamesh, i've found this patchyness in dark shots in most of my pics that are taken in dark places altough i'm thinking I probably just have a the camera on the wrong setting.
