Mathematically speaking the worst preflop situtation you can be in in Hold 'Em is holding K2 while up against KK. With your 2 suited with one of your opponents kings.
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
    Kd Kh 1612287 94.16 73825 4.31 26192 1.53 0.949
    Ks 2h 73825 4.31 1612287 94.16 26192 1.53 0.051

I didn't know this by the way and had to be told it. :)

Now I remember a discussion on here a while ago where it was concluded that AA vs A9 (same suited stipulation) was actually the worst situation.
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
    Ad Ah 1598785 93.37 89199 5.21 24320 1.42 0.941
    As 9h 89199 5.21 1598785 93.37 24320 1.42 0.059

I don't understand how exactly the KK vs K2 scenario is worse than this (though I trust twodimes :)). Anyone enlighten me?

A9 can make more one-card straights.
