and how hard is it to get an ip added to
that list ... do they verify the origin
of all the attacks / probes. about 95% of
the probes [the place where i worked] got
would have been trivial to spoof.

crist lads try reading the FAQ.

People submit the IP's based on hits on thier firewall. When someone port scans they do it in the 1000's.

From what I gather they have a reasonably good system to stop script kiddies polluting the database.
