Athy / Kildare / Monasterevin?

    Anyont living in kildare town or Athy or monasterevin and working in dublin? Whats the commuting time like to dublin and to saggart/rathcoole area in the mornings and evenings? Whats its like to live there?

    Kildare town to city west is anything from 35/40 mins on a light traffic morning,It can go up to anything depending on the horrors of the N7 but usually you would be in saggart in under an hour
    Train from Kildare to Heuston is about the same (40 mins/50 mins)
    Luas makes it much quicker to get into town.The bus used to take as long as the Train to get to Connolly!
    Monsterevin takes about 10/15 mins longer ,athy doesn't have as regular a train service (think there is only 1 train in the evening ) and I would guess is about 25 mins further than kildare
