Ad-aware shuts my computer down!

For some reason, when I run a computer scan using the Ad-aware anti-spyware programme, after a few seconds of scanning a window appears saying that my computer will shut down in 1 minute. If I try to delete the files that the scan has found before the computer shuts down, then my internet wont work after the computer has started up again. Why is it happening?

This puts me in a situation where I can never remove spyware from my computer. What do you suggest I do?

That'd be the Blaster or Sasser virus. I think myself its the Sasser virus, microsoft.com has a fix for that on their website. U need to get a firewall also or secure ur dial up connection if ur on XP
