    UEFA need to do something about the Oceania World Cup Qualifying tournament, like Australia (75th in the world) beating Tonga 22-0 then American Samoa 31-0 in the space of a week.

    Results like that are an embarrasment to the game - perhaps these minnow teams should all play each other in a group with the winner then going into the proper qualifying group where they'll be duly thrashed.

    Also Australia called players like John Aloisi and others from Europe up to play those games - bit of a waste of a trip halfway around the world eh? They didn't even bother calling up Kewell, Viduka or lardy Bosnich smile.gif

    It is getting a bit stupid. I knew about the 22-0 match but not about the 31-0. That's crazy.

    Yeh, most goals in a FIFA match and also top individual scorer (12 goals i think)
    But worry not, the aussies are slipping! they only barely scraped by in thier last match (tonga or the other samoa) in a hard fought 11-0 win.
    There was a priceless quote by the tonga manager after the 22-0 win, something like "Why do the australians bother calling up thier international glamour players like John Aloisi" hahahahaha, glamour player eh? smile.gif
