    I recently bought a Zildjian K custom dark ride 20" in hong kong. In the shop it was sparkling and great. Took it home. Opened it up two days later and it had brown and black spots on it. These aren't part of the style or hammering, there's no symmetry or pattern, they're completely random. Two big collections and a few odd spots.
    Now I know that zildjian stake their reputation on the finish on their cymbals so I don't think it's a faulty cymbal, I could be wrong though :confused: .
    It was wrapped in styrofoam before my eyes in the shop. It didn't rain gettin them home so they stayed dry to the best of my knowledge.
    Anyone had this happen to them before, or any advice???? help!!!!
    Oh and please r.s.v.p a.s.a.p cos I'm only here for another four days. Thanks

    :(:confused::(

    Dampen a cloth with hot water and see if the spots come off. Dry the cymbal carefully when you're finished.
