(please move if in wrong forum, also delete if old newssmile.gif )

Still struggling with 2MB Hotmail inbox???? (Yes, some of us are…) Want a little more? (And I do mean only a little more...) 25MB?

    Here's How and it works!

    Login to your account
    Go to Option
    Click My Profile
    Change Country to United States
Wait for browser to Load US Settings
Change state to Florida and Zip Code to 33332
    Click Update
    Click Continue

Go to Language and Make sure it is English. Paste this link in Same Browser :
    http://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/AccountClose

Wait until the screen says "Your Hotmail account is closed and ready to be deleted."
Click Close Account. (Don’t worry, you wont lose anything)

Go Back to Login and re-login to your Account as normal
you will see ‘reactivate your account’, follow it and press continue to bypass the next few pages that come up.

TADA!! You now have a 25MB limit inbox!

-Yea I know it’s not much but some of us like hotmail and it’s a welcome increase (until the 250MB upgrade comes round as standard for all users)
Note: No emails will be deleted from your account at all (as long as you do everything in one quick session) and you won’t loose any of your addresses in the address book.

You can now change all your profile info back to what it was.

But everyone has a hotmail. And couldn't bother telling everyone their new email address, and changing all their subsciptions, etc. Also, Hotmail addresses are good for spam :D

I love my old hotmail account.

    I can POP3 into it with Hot Popper 'cos it's pre-Microsoft (1997). :D

Funnily enough I used this thing when it was posted 4 months ago on my girlfriends hotmail A/C and her cousins hotmail account.
    Results:
    Her cousin has 250MB
    My girlfriend stll has 25MB

Abit of a joke really as she's nearly filled the space with stuff...I'm trying to get her to move to GMail

If Microsoft can't even upgrade everybody to 250MB they shouldn't try at all
Atleast Yahoo managed to do it rightl.
