Mini Series - I watched it again last night and....

A couple of things:

At the point where the Galactica's fighter squadron get wiped out, the Cylons used their jammer weapon to disable the fighters and wipe them out, grand says i. Boomer and Helo move to a safe distance and everything goes tits over arse. But then the cylon fighter is chasing the Raptor with Boomer & Helo and not using the weapon to disable the Raptor.. whats up with that?

In the convoy, when boomer brings back the tanker full of tillium, in the shot of the ships passing by, there seems to be 3 vipers in the shot. I thought Apollo's viper was the only on with the convoy. And it seems unlikely that Boomer found the vipers sitting out in space while on a short range FTL jump. I can understand why Apollo was escort Colonial 1 (can't remember the ships call sign previous to the Pres being dead), after all Roslyn was a member of the cabinet. Also you could say they could have been escorting other ships, we'll AFAIR there were no other cabinet members in the convoy, please correct as i may be wrong here....

Apollo's mum dieing... kinda skipped over. Unlucky kid... lets just get on with it.

A question that contains a spoiler...

I read in another spoiler on this board that boxy is meant to be a cylon. However, when Boomer & Helo are loading up to take the children first, Boxy is clear hugged goodbye by his mum. Now was boxy (human) taken and replaced by a cylon or is his mum in that scene another Cylon model.

An officer that plays a part in the mini series, the fat guy. Is in the scene where they arrest the cylon on galactica and is in the scene where they do an emergency vent (along with Tigh and the Chief)... did his contract run out? I can't remember seeing him again after the mini series.

Last thing... 33.. i've only seen it once and can't remember it clearly. But once they jump to the Promar sector the have a ceremony for the dead. The So Say We All Scene. Anyway, there must have been more that 33 minutes past before the cylons FTL in. (As i say, i can't remember what the deal was in 33 so there is a logical explanation for this, i just need clarification.).

The raptor might not have been upgraded with the new software, or it might be a case that they where still out of range.

In the early drafts of the script, some of the ships that Boomer picked up Vipers from a destroyed Battlestar. The scene for it was there until pretty late in production, which explains why its there, I guess.

The revelation that Boxy was a cylon was only in a deleted scene and never made it into a canon episode. The fact that the writers deleted the scene at the last minute probably means they're having second thoughts about making Boxy a cylon.
