Startup Problem

Hi I was wondering if you could help my friend out with this problem. He's been bugging me for ages about it. http://www.totalclubmanager.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5667 Basically, the computer has recently been aksing him to insert the boot cd when he starts the computer. Any ideas of how to stop this?

If he can boot into Windows, run system restore and restore to a previous date that he knows the computer worked on. If this doesn't work, then maybe re-installing Windows will work. IF there's still no joy then it could be a hardware failure or miss-configuration, especially if he's installed new hardware recently.
