Really want to start playing an rpg.Aint played one in ages, just be cs and what not.All the talk on here bout ff7 makes me want to play that, but i really dont see me getting past the start.

Would love to play WOW, I played wc3roc alot but really dont have the time for WOW,just a single player game would be fine.

So the question is , which RPG would you recommend?Wheater it old or new , have gamecube/ps1,put pc would be the best.

    Cheers Adam

I'd still go for FFVII, personally! Give it a chance, man! :)

On PC I'd recommend NWN, or Morrowind.

If you're looking for free ones then mosy on over to HotU and get Blood Omen, not as good as the other 2, but free:

Knights of the old republic and morrowind for the pc havent played KORTOR II but i hear its really buggy, you can pick up morrowind for a tenner KORTOR is probablly going cheap now aswell

The Original Knights of the old republic is far better than the sequel. Also FF7 is a must buy classic.

    *gasp*

all these replies and no one has suggested Planescape:Torment?

granted, it's hard to find but oh so rewarding...

    my top 5 crpg:
    1) planescape:torment
    2) star wars: KotoR
    3) fallout I/II
    4) Neverwinter Nights
    5) Baldurs Gate II

Sorry, don't know how I missed this one...

Also, I found Wizardry 8 to be a lot of fun. A very odd story, but a good solid game behind it.

on the GC I would highly recommend Tales of symphonia, is extremely addictive and is a HUGE game, takes ages to complete.

    Start with Fallout!

I'd advise Morrowind too. Although the sequel Oblivian is coming out in August
    I've heard.

Real life is overrated. You don't get to be obliterated by demiliches in real life. and I ask you sir why would a game be worth playing if you can't be imprisoned by a floating skull?
