Transferring .avi back to memory card

    Hey everyone,

I have a Fuji Finepix F420. It takes video as well. Usually I transfer stuff straight onto my PC after videoing / taking pics. Just wondering, can I just hook the camera up as normal to my PC and transfer one of the videos back onto the camera's memory card?

Sorry if this is a really stupid question :D

    Thanks in advance!

My digital camera acts like an external drive when I plug it in, so I'm going to assume yours does too. If so, it's just a question of finding it in explorer and dragging your films across.

Yah it comes up in My Computer as E: or F: or something, so I assume that's what you're talking about?

Yep. Should be able to just transfer it across.

I'm not sure how your camera does it, but if you change the file name and then put it back onto mine, the photo doesn't actually come up in the little browse function in the camera itself, but it definitely is on the card.

With my camera (KM Z5) before you transfer it back to the card, make another movie first, leave it on the card, rename the one you want to transfer and overwrite the 'temp' you that you made. This way the camera 'sees' the movie that you transfered.
