Help, I'm new to satellite

    I've just moved house and I got a satellite dish,decoder and a viewing card. It doesn't seem work but that said I've never had satellite before and don't want to subscribe to sky digital. Is there anything available for free?

    Yes you can get BBC free for starters, have a look here http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/Europe.html just bear that the main satellites are astra 1 at 28 degrees (east of south) Astra 1at 19 and hotbird at 13

    You can receive plenty of free channels, ie all BBCs, and if you want ITv,CH4,
