I can't get onto Gmail for some reason, it says that some software on my pc is in conflict with Gmail, I don't have anything running thats I didn't have any other time and Gmail didn't complain, I thoght it might be some spyware or something so I ran Spybot, then tried again and still nothing, is anyone else facing this problem?

problem rectified(sp?) I thought of everything: spyware, viruses, Morpheus, restarting the pc, but what I didn't think of was that it might be the browser, it was, for some reason Firefox isn't on speaking terms with Gmail, I love both, I mean how does a guy choose?

btw I did the obvious thing, I have firefox open for everything else and Netscape for Gmail,I'd never go to the dark side (Internet Explorer), its utter rubbish! I could find a better web browser if I searched my ass crack!

GMail doesn't work with Firefox for me either, well sometimes it does.
It seems whenever I tell Gmail to remember my login for 2 weeks (or whatever time it is) it stops working on Firefox. It just never loads the page.

If you have the notifier go into options and you can pick what browser you wish to use from there!

GMail refuses to work for me in Firefox altogether now.
It sometimes lets me get to the login screen but when I do try to login in it loads a blank page and sticks. Now it wont even work in IE for me either.
When I turn on the GMail notifier sometimes it works other times it gets an error when trying to connect to it. The default browser is set to Firefox in the notifier.
Anybody have any idea why this might be happening?

Gmail has been a bit flaky for me too. But in IE and FF. Sometimes I can get in sometimes I can't. Even though other people around me can use Gmail just fine.

When you get to the login page, log in and then get nowhere, in Firefox goto Tools-> Options -> Privacy Tab and clear everything in here... This helped me out when I was getting errors trying to login...

I just use it through Outlook Express. I rarely have to go to the website at all.
