    1.LG Flatron L1940P - flat panel display - TFT - 19"

    2.LG Flatron L1915S - flat panel display - TFT - 19"

    3.NEC MultiSync LCD1970NX-BK - flat panel display - TFT - 19"

    4.NEC AccuSync LCD92VM - flat panel display - TFT - 19"

    5.Samsung SyncMaster 910T - flat panel display - TFT - 19"

This is what i have to pick from. We will be getting 10 in total of these 19" TFT's. What they will be mostly used for is CAD and 3D drawings. Just wondering does anyone have any of these monitors ? Or can you pick out the best one ? Maybe someone out there has a good knowledge of TFT's.

    Thanks.

any samsung screen is outstanding in my opinion...NEC are also good...LG imo are not that impressive...

19" are not great value compared to 17" btw...imo...

NEC screens last for ages so if your looking for something with a good amount durability then i would certainly recommend those...I use samsung myself

go for the NEC or Samsung, they are some of the best and most reliable screens out there.

    personally would get the samsung.

Dunno if this helps and perhaps it should be in Bargain Alerts ... I don't know... but theres a store in Navan that are selling Hewlett Packard Pavilion 19" TFT monitors for less than €460. Apparently the display quality on them is outstanding but I can't vouch for it personally not having seen or sold them myself. (We haven't gotten hp 19" screens in yet in the store I work in). I don't remember the name of the store but its the computer store in Navan Shopping Centre.

if u look at the samsung specs on komplett u will see, they have a higher brightness rating and higher contrast than any other lcd screen this is why they are better. blacks are blacker on the samsung than any other lcd available.(except dell which are really samsungs)
