Any pubs/clubs/dodgy winebars open after midnight this Thursday in Dublin?

    was just wondering cos have a friend coming up from the country and we're going to an awards night but the place closes at 12 midnight,

    I remember being in a big enough town down the country a few years back on Holy Thurs and was surprised to find the nightclub going on til 2am,

    am presuming in Dublin, especially with all the recent headlines etc that everywhere will shut up shop at 12 (which i don't really object to but just have to tell my friend that he might have to wait a day or 2 for his first big piss-up in ages, house-party pending of course)

    As far as I know, wine bars and restaurants can serve wine as usual on Good Friday, so I'd expect some of the clubs on Leeson Street to open.

    I reckon not as I believe that it is illegal to open on Good Friday from midnight to midnight

    for dodgy winebars try "la Cave" on south anne st which is mental at the best of times.!!!its not as bogey as some of the other winebar places any time ive been there the atmosphere has always been great.(mind you ive only ever been when im bladdered)
