firefox refusing to look at any site

    no matter what site i try to look at i always get the following error..
    Forbidden

    You were denied access because:

    Access denied by access control list.

    i've tried reinstalling firefox, but i'm still getting the same thing. for some reason there's also an update symbol up the top right, which when clicked, shows no updates at all! (i'm running 1.0.1) any suggestions?

    that sounds like a firewall problem

    if you dont know how to chnge the firewall config,
    uninstall it, reboot and reinstall it

    i turned it off there and i'm still getting the same problem :confused:

    turning it off wont work, thats why i said uninstall

    turns out it was a problem with the proxy server. the update problem has been cured now too.
