Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I heard from a friend that Placebo may not tour again after finishing their 04 tour. Does anyone know if this is true? Or, If they do tour again, will they be playing Ireland?

Your guess is as good as mine and mine is not very good. I'd like to see them again, Black Market Music wasn't great but I liked the last album a lot.

They are set to tour again, but not this year.
They took a year off to write a new album (counting days to release date!), but are due to tour in 2006.
They will be coming to Ireland to play in Dublin, as well as maybe one of the festivals (Slaine, Oxygen), the only reason they didn't come last time was because they were due to play Ireland after Hong Kong I think, and the whole Sars thing flared up!
    Damn was I pissed!!!

Good! About them coming back, not about SARS.

    No bother.
Believe me, I was pissed myself, when I thought that this could be the end.
The new album is supposed to be out around the end of the year, so I guess they'll be touring for most of 2006.
    :D:D:D

Do you know if they played anything from the first album on the last tour. When I saw them last they didn't.

Everytime that I've seen them they have.
I've seen them three times in Ireland, once in England and once in France.
If they are touring to promote a new album, then they will obviously be playing alot of stuff off that, but one or two of the clasics will always creep in.
Last time I saw them, they played Nancy Boy, and Teenage Angst.

Last time I saw them was on the Black Market Music tour at Witness and they only played songs from Without You I'm Nothing and Black Market Music so I was afraid that they were gone off the first album.
