Anyone know where I can find one of these? The online options to buy in Ireland are few and expensive (€18 is okay but €9 delivery makes it silly).

Surely I can pick one up somewhere for a tenner!!

My brother made one when he was in 6th class when they had to invent something.

You only need a plastic pipe a bit wider than a can and a good heavy round bar (like an axle off an old machine) to drop on it. ;)

    Hi

Supervalu Off license (Dalys) in Aylesbury have them for 7.99, but it will be cheaper to stand on them.

I can PM you their number.

    Regards

You can pay me to stand on them if you want - I'll wear my heaviest boots.

I picked one up on Pearse Street in a wholesale kitchen shop (not sure of the name), they're 13.20 in the shop window but when you go in they charge you VAT on top which makes it nearly €16.

A bit expensive but they're worthwhile for preventing the old green bin from being full 4 days before bin day... :)

That used to be fun.....taking out my anger etc., but since I've stocked up on beer in France, I'm getting weary!

Bit more expensive - but more comprenhensive - Atlantic do a Wheelie bin compactor for 40 euros.
Big bars thing - fits over bin - big lever to squash all the contents.
