our tactics

I’ve decided that, so we can do ok in this schools thing, we should make some attempt at "tactics". I’ve listed some of the maps that I know of and things we could and/or should do on them 2 give us the best chance possible. If u can think of anything else that should go in on a map or even something on a map I don’t have, please post a reply. All of these rely on there being 5 per team. If u have any questions or have any tactics please post a reply. I doubt there will b any VIP missions cause they r crap, so there is only bomb site and hostage ones.

Hamo, could u write up a few and post them (e.g. cs_italy, office, prodigy). feel free everyone to add to any of these posts.

General Tactics:
CT: On bomb missions, always buy a difuse kit before u buy anything else. These are often critical to victory. Camping is often the best thing to do because if u prevent the terrorists from planting the bomb, then u win. If u have time when u see enemies press "c" then "2" to say "enemy spotted". Press it 2 times if u c 2 people, 3 for 3 etc.
It’s very hard to rescue hostages so often u must kill all terrorists. If u r going 2 rescue, though, u must make sure the area is secure b4 taking them as they talk out loud and make noise as they run.

T: always plant the bomb in the open so u can shoot anyone who tries to difuse it. If u can wait until u hear the noise of someone trying to defuse the bomb b4 u pop up and kill ‘em, so they cant shoot u.

Camp with the hostages and put them between u and the line of fire of the enemy. Get a hostage and bring it with u so it is harder for them to rescue them.

Other tactics: When u want 2 use a flash bang, flash ur flashlight repeatedly at friends so we know 2 look away. Jump up and down or crouch when u r shooting an enemy. Press shift or whatever to walk when u r going around cprners where there r likely to b enemys. It is good to use the pistol. When u start a turn, flick between pistol (weapon 2) and primary gun (weapon 1) so that when u run out of ammo u can press "q" to switch to pistol.

Site 1=CT spawn site
Site 2= end of tunnel section.

CT: 2 people@ end of tunnel, 2 @ small tunnel leading 2 the double doors( on the right as u run out of spawn site), 1 goes left at very start so he comes out and can cover the other tunnel section as well as the large sunken area filled with crates.He should use a snipe gun e.g. Steyer ( no. 4 in rifle section)or the "Orc" ( no. 6 in rifle section)

T: firstly, nobody is 2 rush off mindlessly at the start, we’ll only get separated and die. Either me or Hamo will say_team to rush site 1 or site 2. U all will obey this. U will know who 2 follow as we will use the radio command "follow me!"Sometimes I may act as a decoy while u lot go the other way (e.g. thru sunken area.)

Site 1=CT Spawn site.
Site 2= As u leave ct spawn go right, up the steps + thru all the double doors and it is right there.

CT: 2 @ end of bridge, 2 near the double doors, 1 behind the two boxes in the corner beside bombsite 2. As u come out of the ct spawn and get to site 2 it is at the far end, on the right. 1 of the people at the end of the bridge should have a good snipe gun. Every 1 should load up on HE nades as they r very useful.

T: again just like the map b4. B extra careful crossing the bridge and going thru the double doors as nades fly aroung like nobodys business at these places, while there is always a snipe at the end of the bridge. If u can, get someone 2 crouch beside the crates at the bomb sites, hop up on their back, and plant the bomb on top of the crate.

Hostages, inside the house.

CT: Two choices at start: thru the tunnel, or frontal assault. A decoy at least must go thru the front or they will get suspicious. If tunnel go 2 far end, but b careful of people hiding behind the crates near the ladder. On frontal assault, 1 person (me) will have a snipe gun 2 get people on roof or in the windows, etc. the easiest way might b up the ladder to the 1st floor. Some people hide under the stairs+behind the couch so take care. Always walk or crouch in the house or u will b heard + shot. The 2nd pair of hostages r in the garage. Some people turn off the light so u cant see and hide under the stairs.

T: I will go onto the roof with a snipe gun when I have it. 1 person will go to the farthest exit from the tunnels, and 1 to the 1 b4 it to make sure no one comes out. If u hear noise from the tunnels, press "u" for "say_team" and type "tunnel" so we know there r people in the tunnel. 1 person beneath each of the stairs in side the house mentioned in the CT section. Again if u see an enemy press "c" then "2" to tell everyone that u have seen enemies and we can go help.
