If you have Sky then channel 226 shows it quite regularly, also one of the travel channels shows it occasionally. It is called 'The Million dollar deal'. It was quite interesting. Mike Magee and Donnachea O'dea feature as well.

If anone can get me a copy of this on dvd I'll let them borrow my copy of Poker Tour 2 which is released at the end of the month. I've ordered it from Amazon for about 40 quid. Pretty good price for 8 dvds. Hope they work...

The year before this documentry was Andy's first year in Vegas.
Andy did quite well and finished 8th(I think).
I know He was was knocked out by mr.unger who floped a set of three's when the board produced two of them. Andy did nt believe stu when he reraised, so Andy put all his chips in only to be stunned by ungers hand to go home with about 60k. Stu Unger won the title that year (1997)$1,000,000 first prize.
The following year (1998) He brought the film crew, but could not repeat his performance. The burden of making a film did not help his play. I know He made it to the second day of the four day event but did not last long.
Scotty nguyen went on to win that year.
I ve seen the film and got a good laugh out of mad marty.
I would like to get copy on dvd for myself, if I source I'll give you a shout.

Could somebody please record this for me also - dvd or video. I would credit that documentary, along with LNP with getting me interested in poker in the first place. I only have NTL so have seen enough LNP reruns but would love to see this documentary again.

Ah its a beautiful image. Now excuse me while I remove it from my frontal lobe with a hot poker (not that kind, the other kind!).

I just put a fiver on ten players to win the tourney. Most are about 50-100 to one with two at 33-1. So here's hoping Mark wins the lot. Money in the bag for Dessie!
The Paddy Power odds are worth checking out even for a couple of quid. Stick a euro on five 100-1's each way and you might get a holiday out of your winnings. Then again, you might just lose a fiver...

A copy of that show on dvd would be great. The swap with the Poker tour dvds still stands when they arrive.
