CD Imaging

    What programs are you using to image CD's and how do ya guarantee that the imaging software gets a good image. some of the games i have I cant get a good image

    Nero is pretty good for making image files. Alcohol 120% is also a pretty good program too.

    use a combination of clony xxl and alcohol.
    clony to figure out what kind of protection the cd is using, then alcohol to read the image using the settings for that specific protection type.

    you'd be lucky to make a fully working backup these days though

    making a perfect image is only 1/2 the battle. You also need a burner thats capable of burning a perfect image. Thats much harder to do than making a perfect image.

    try cdfreaks (i tihnk its called) for more in depth info on imaging and burning newer copyprotections.
