WiFi connection on Dell X50

I've got two PDA's an Ipaq 2410 and a Dell X50, both running Windows Mobile.
I've also got two different brands of wireless router, a netgear and a d-link.

I can connect via the ipaq to either brand of router using WEP or WPA or
no protection at all. I can only connect via the Dell to either brand of
router when there is no protection, and even then its a real hit and
    miss exercise.

Anyone got a lot of experience with using Dell PDA's and know of any
    solutions???

I use the x50v with a US Robotics access point configured for PSK WPA (as in the WPA with a password, no fancy certs/radius stuff).

Settings | Dell WLAN Utility | Setting | Chose my network from the list, which brings up a new "Configure Wireless Network" window | Network Key tab | Set the Authentication to WPA-PSK. I set Data Encryption to TKIP, and typed my password in the "Network key" box and all was hunky dory.. if that's of any help
