Interesting looking item here

Looks to me like a japanese/english dictionary. If so it would be an interesting route to giving the DS some PDA-type software. If you think about it the DS is excellently equipped for such use, and would be an excellent added bonus if you could browse the web/check email/read an ebook on your ds.

It looks to be an electronic japanese dictionary, which are essential purchases for people learning japanese - allowing you to look up a kanji from the thousands that exist. They also retail in the €100s, so this is great news for us poor students.

Touch screen will hopefully allow you to search by drawing the kanji too!

The gist of it:

Easy to see. Easy to understand. Implements an electronic dictionary without stress, via the easy-to-use interface of the game console. Uses the DS's power for high-speed retrevial and on-screen display. There are three input methods; handwriting, kana and english. It also loads onto the DS's wireless chat functions. For example, people can contribute jointly in an english word game doing such things as answering the way of reading a difficult kanji. It can be used for study or work, or even as a “playable dictionary”.

That's cool, a handy jisho for my DS. Could be useful.
