    Check this out:

This guy has modded his laptop by replacing all of the plastic components with wood.
it is not a laptop covered by wood, but is a REAL WOOD LAPTOP. the original plastic cover of the laptop DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE, and is substituted by WOOD. so the ENTIRE LAPTOP is made by SOLID WOOD. :)

    1. The entire laptop is not made of solid wood. The external cover is.
    2. It looks brutal.

I remember doing this years ago with my laptop but when I was finally finished putting it all together I turned it on and the bloody thing wooden work!! Kerbumching!!!

The workmanship on the one in the pic looks pretty cack tbh. You'd think if you were going to go to all that trouble you'd at least take the time to make it look like you've used decent wood.

Legno is the italian for Wood BTW

you could get balsa or veneer if you wanted to get a look.
problems with wood - it's an insulator so may get heat problems
it's doesn't block EMI so you could be creating RF inteference , unless you put thin foil on the inside or something.
