Hi Guys. I'm in the process of getting another Sky digibox and want to run it from the existing dish I have. I know I need a second LNB to do this and I came accross a Sky Digital Quad LNB on ebay. Is all I need to do is relace the original LNB on the dish with the quad and run a second line into the house? Also is £20 a good price for a quad? I presume dual LNB's are also availible?

    Thanks

    ding

No problem, installing a quad L.N.B, on a sky mini dish, once its a sky quad L.N.B.
Other wise you cuold have problems with F/D, and installation of L.N.B.
    Good Price.

you would need to have some sort of hand eye co ordination problem to encounter difficulties putting on a quad lnb

I got a Raven Quad LNB on Ebay a few weeks ago for £9 (plus £4.50 postage). Its on my dish now and is perfect. The best thing to do is an advanced search for "Buy it Now" items only. You should get a couple of pages of results. Go to the second page and you'll see items that have just been added that not a lot of people have seen.

BTW, if you set up another digibox yourself do you avoid the extra monthly charge from Sky?

This is what true satellite enginners are up against, cheap L.N.Bs, and bad quality dishes.

The worst quality dish I've come across is the Lidl dish so far. Also, some of Sky's in-house installations use a dish with inferior bracketry to the "EL" dishes (mind you, the EL dishes aren't as robust as the Triax Zone2's).
