Quick question before I return this monitor: It's only waking up on mouse/keyboard action now half of the time or less, is there some reason for this I might be missing? Pretty sure that when I was running Linux it wouldn't wake up at all.

Could be a software issue, have you tried a different monitor on the same machine. (On linux, btw, you may have to explicitly setup monitor sleep, depending on your graphics card...

Hmm .. i have a sort of similar issue... 1 in 10 or 15 times when I wake the machine, the monitor (Hansol H530s and H711) come on fine, but the display is either slightly screwey (like red pixels on for certain shades of non-red), or totally screwey (like total colour washout).. but a flick off/on of the monitor and it's fine. I usually turn off the monitors anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much.. but it may be a related issue.
