PSU making wierd noise

My Fortron PSU 350w is making a wierd noice, like a kinda grinding or screeching noise, kinda wierd is this bad, is the psu coming too its end because its fairly new and what is the next course of action ? :rolleyes: also i hit the psu with my hand and it stopped :) its back making the noise ? tis very strange :mad: I got…

You probably have a fan wearing out. I have had one do the same, monitors (CRT) can make a similar noise too. I would change the fan or the whole psu.
