A few months back that TV (+ Sony dvd player) cost me €900 in PowerCity (same price/offer as DID Electrical). Might be worth seeing if they've dropped their prices since as Xtra-Vision are charging €929 for the tv on its own atm.

Worth mentioning that the KV32CS70 has two models, 50hz and 100hz. I'm unsure which one the Xtra-Vision offer is, but mine @ €900 is the 100hz.

The One at Xtravision is 100hz

Let's hope it's better value then the current
DVD Incredibles offer at 25 Euro with a FREE radio as opposed to 19.99 in Dunnes/Tesco.

Most places are doing it for €869 with a free DVD player so itd cost around the €1200 mark without the free dvd but with the sr1.

The CS70 doesnt come in 50hz and 100hz, its 2 different models. The KV32HX15 is the 50Hz and the KV32CS70 is the 100hz one.

you get a pen with the dunnes one aswell, but no outer paper cover, so its a trade-off. :D

Looking for some help, want to buy a Sony 32 inch tv and a surround sound system shortly.
Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place to buy a Sony KV32FQ86 + Stand is !? Or is there much difference between this tv and the KV32CS70 ? What should i go with ?
Also can someone recommend a good surround sound system to go with it, is the DAVSB100 any good ?

I have the KV32FQ86 and really happy with it - crystal clear picture and excellent sound - works great with multi region dvd player as well. I priced around a few places and best deal I got was Power city at €1079.00 this was for TV, stand and they threw in a sony DVD player (which I then sold for €60 :)) the dvd player retailed at €90 in Power city - this was best deal I could find anyway.

DID were selling it slightly higher with a Home cinema system at €1299 and the Sony shop with the same DVD player as power city at €1149.00.

Apparently there isnt a major difference in quality between this and the KV32CS70 - they are essentially the same TV, just the FQ86 has split screen and a few different extras and the black surround which I like.

DAVSB100 is a cracker for the price. I got it on amazon for £129 +deliv but it's gone up since then.
Only gripe is it's not multi region (I knew rhis before I bought it) and there's no hack for it.
Great sound and awesome bass and it looks good too...
Last time I was in Harvey Normans they had it for a decent € price...

The DAVSB100 is available in DID Electrical along with the KV32FQ86 widescreen tv for approx. 1230 euro !
I'd like the surround sys to be multi-region and NTSC compatible, can anyone tell me if either the Sony DAVSR1 or the DAVSR2 would do the trick ?! Anyone got a price on them ?
