I'm looking for one of these machines. It doesn't have to be the same model as this one though. Do Tesco/Superquinn still stock them? If so in all branches or just their bigger ones?

Failing them where else coule I get one? Peats/Maplins? I was hoping to pick one up tomorrow as a last minute idea for a birthday present so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You talking about this one?

Looks ok. Should do the job. As long as it plays Xvid as well. Anyone know?

If it plays Divx it'll play Xvid. You can use the divx decoder to decode xvid.

What are you talking about ?

Well, I headed off to Dundrum and got one of the ones that Tesco are selling for €99. So far so good. Except it's a little loud. As it's a present for my brother it'll be him who has to get used to it :p

It also plays subtitles which was a bit of worry before hand. The lack of fast forward might be a pain in the ass though.
