Sound Cars...

    Whoops, the topic is supposed to say 'sound cards'=]
    My sound card does not run two sound apps. at once, i.e playing half-life and running napster doesnt work, i will onlky hear hl sounds, this is annoying as i cannot use battlecom or roger wilco, any1 any ideas to fix this, drivers work?

    I have had this problem too, and I can say now that it's not so much the sound card as the operating system(or perhaps drivers/something to do with directx) - in win2k I have been able to have winamp going, and halflife, and anything else I like, all the sound is fine, on both an old crappy ISA ms sound system board, and on a nice SB AWE 64 gold (ISA)
